Palace South Beach is making headlines again! This time, South Florida Insider is shining a spotlight on our exciting LGBTQ+ History Month celebrations, recognizing Palace as more than just a destination for the Best Drag Brunch Miami has to offer.
In an October 1, 2026, feature titled “Palace Miami Beach Is Going All Out for LGBTQ+ History Month,” journalist McKaela Lulic explores how our iconic Ocean Drive destination is bringing together drag entertainment, community celebrations, rooftop parties, and meaningful LGBTQ+ initiatives throughout October and November.
For nearly four decades, Palace South Beach has been a place where Miami’s LGBTQ+ community and visitors from around the world can celebrate authenticity, individuality, and the freedom to be themselves.
And this fall, we’re taking that celebration even further.
Nearly Four Decades of LGBTQ+ History on Ocean Drive
Since opening in 1988, Palace has helped shape Miami Beach’s LGBTQ+ entertainment scene, becoming a destination known for spectacular drag performances, unforgettable dining, and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
While visitors searching for Drag Brunch Miami or Drag Brunch Miami Beach often discover Palace through our famous brunch performances, our history extends far beyond entertainment.
As South Florida Insider recognizes, Palace has long provided a gathering place for the LGBTQ+ community, where friendships are formed, individuality is celebrated, and everyone is welcome.
From our legendary drag queens to our rooftop celebrations overlooking South Beach, Palace continues to bring people together through music, performance, and community.
LGBTQ+ History Month 2026: A Celebration of Love, Courage, and Pride
October marks LGBTQ+ History Month, and Palace is celebrating with a packed calendar of special events designed to honor our community’s past while embracing its future.
The festivities began October 1 with Love Is a Drag, our singles dinner club and networking mixer, followed by Welcome to the Family: Drag Turnabout, a three-night celebration where Palace team members took center stage in full drag transformations.
Hosted by Palace favorites Poizon Ivy Lords, CC Glitzer, and Tiffany Fantasia, the event brought a new twist to the drag entertainment Miami audiences have come to love.
But LGBTQ+ History Month at Palace is about more than performances.
Throughout October, Palace is also incorporating nonpartisan voter registration and civic engagement opportunities, encouraging community members to connect with local leaders and access important voting resources.
National Coming Out Day: Finding Courage Together
One of the most meaningful highlights featured in South Florida Insider was Palace’s National Coming Out Day celebration on October 11.
At 10:11 AM, Palace unveiled The Courage Wall, a community installation inviting guests to complete one powerful statement:
“I found the courage to…”
The installation provides an opportunity for individuals to share personal stories of identity, acceptance, resilience, and self-discovery.
Palace also partnered with LGBTQ+ advocacy organization SAVE for a special National Coming Out Day Drag Brunch, combining entertainment with a celebration of visibility and community.
The day continued with a rooftop pool party featuring DJs Jesus Montanez and JRNY, demonstrating how Palace brings meaningful community moments and unforgettable Miami nightlife together.
Love Out Loud Weekend and Halloween at Palace
The celebration continues October 16–18 with Love Out Loud Weekend, honoring love in all its forms, from romantic relationships and friendships to the chosen families that are such an important part of LGBTQ+ culture.
Then, beginning October 26, Palace embraces the Halloween season with Camp Palace: The Final Slay, a week of themed drag entertainment, costumes, and celebrations.
The Halloween lineup includes Deadly Dolls, Secrets from the Crypt, Slasher Night, Noche de los Muertos, and The Final Girls, culminating in The Final Slay on Halloween night.
Palace will also bring its signature entertainment to Wilton Manors for Wicked Manors, extending the festivities beyond Miami Beach.
For guests searching for LGBTQ+ events in Miami, Drag South Beach, or unforgettable Halloween nightlife, Palace has plenty planned.
Celebrating Transgender Visibility and Remembrance
As October transitions into November, Palace will continue its community-focused programming with events recognizing Transgender Awareness Week, November 13–19, and Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20.
A special Transgender Day of Remembrance Drag Brunch will feature an all-trans cast, providing a platform to celebrate transgender performers while honoring those whose lives have been lost to anti-transgender violence.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit a local trans-inclusive organization.
These moments reflect Palace’s commitment to creating opportunities for visibility, connection, and celebration throughout Miami’s LGBTQ+ community.
From Drag Brunch Miami to Rooftop Parties and Seasonal Dining
Of course, no Palace celebration would be complete without incredible food, cocktails, and entertainment.
As highlighted by South Florida Insider, our fall calendar also features seasonal culinary creations, rooftop events, and special entertainment experiences.
Guests can explore fall-inspired dishes and cocktails, enjoy our famous drag performances, or celebrate with friends at our rooftop pool bar.
Whether you’re searching for the Best Drag Brunch Miami Beach, an exciting Miami Drag South Beach experience, or a memorable night out on Ocean Drive, Palace offers something for every occasion.
With special events including our Latin GRAMMY Watch Party, Laughs on Top comedy series, and Thanksgiving celebrations, the excitement continues well beyond LGBTQ+ History Month.
More Than a Drag Bar: A Place to Belong
What makes the South Florida Insider feature especially meaningful is its recognition of Palace as more than a restaurant, drag bar, or nightlife destination.
For nearly four decades, Palace South Beach has been a place where the LGBTQ+ community can gather, celebrate milestones, express individuality, and create lasting memories.
Our drag queens may command the spotlight, but it’s the people who fill our restaurant, cheer along Ocean Drive, and return year after year who make Palace truly special.
As we celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month 2026, we’re proud to continue that legacy with an exciting season of entertainment, visibility, and community.
At Palace South Beach, everyone has a place at the table, and everyone belongs in the celebration.
